This is my 1st video effort with a song that I wrote called "One That Got Away". I am playing the piano and singing. When I wrote this song, I aurally envisioned a bass solo in the song so I invited upright bassist (Chris MacMahon) and drummer (Kenny Phelps) to play with me and read my charts. We are performing this "Live" together in a studio. The song is about "love & loss", but really more about moving forward and just knowing that the person you "let go" is still out there and that is a good positive feeling. I am just using photos of my face and practicing on how to place pictures into my video. It's a bit jerky in places, but I purposely did that thinking that was what I was suppose to do ... try to match the melody with the scene changes. (If you see my 2nd video effort, you will see my improvements over a period of 24 hours. I am now trying to remove myself from matching the melody identically with the changes in the melody of the music).
